We are looking for enthusiastic web professionals to help meet demand for our existing services and also expand the range of services we offer.

We are looking for individuals with a solid history of involvement with the web and a background in web development. As well as knowing your stuff, you also need to be made of the right stuff. At Objects we are passionate about what we do and aim to ensure everyone working at Objects is involved with tasks that they are passionate about. Adding value to our clients is another core value that we constantly strive for and look for people with a strong customer focus.

Tutors, Mentors, Trainers

Our Mentor and Sherpa programs are growing and we need more web developers to meet that demand. These are challenging positions involving work one on one with web development students and junior developers providing them with guidance wherever needed. Strong problem solving skills are also a definite advantage for these positions. These positions often require a lot of patience but the rewards can be incredible for the right position.

Account Manager, Marketing

We are in the process of finalising a new range of services that are planned for release later this year. These require an Account Manager to work closely with our clients to maintain the highest possible level of customer satisfaction while allowing the developers to stay focussed on what they love to do.

These are all remote positions and require the successful applicant to be very self motivated and disciplined.

Today is Objects 13th birthday.

Objects was founded in 1996 to provide development services to businesses who valued quality. Their have been many changes over the past 13 years but our commitment to quality has remained a core value at Objects. Most significant changes has been the continued growth of the Internet and the transition to delivering our services remotely to client all around the world.

Atlassian has released JIRA 3.13.4

The past few months have been pretty hectic here at Objects since we launched the Mentor and Sherpa services. The response to these services has been great, and we thank all the students and web developers who have signed up and are enjoying the benefits offered by the years of experience we can pass on to them.

As a result of the success of these services it has been decided to remove all Google AdSense advertising from http://helpdesk.objects.com.au. AdSense has been a good source of revenue for Objects over the years but does not add any value to the site nor do we have any control over what ads are being served.

So over the next few weeks we will be going through all the pages and removing any ad blocks. What this means to our users is less page clutter and faster page loading.
